Peak Power partnered with Sunshine Energy on a solar installation at Gorkha District Hospital, designed by the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC). The brief was to take a hospital that was heavily dependent on diesel generation and give it a much higher level of energy autonomy.
We worked alongside the hospital’s local engineers to refine the system design and close gaps in the original layout, then ran a full re-wiring of the electrical network to rebalance loads and integrate the grid, generator, and solar inputs. The system runs on SMA AC-coupled inverters and a Victron Energy Quattro power conversion stack, with a full system bypass so the hospital stays powered no matter what.
