Victron Multi HS19 Solar 15k now available in Nepal

Peak Power Solar now supplies the Multi HS19 Solar 15k, Victron Energy’s first inverter/charger designed specifically for high-voltage 650-1000V systems, as an authorized Victron distributor in Nepal.

Everything about this unit is built around one idea: running the battery bank at high voltage to cut current, cable size, and losses, rather than the low-voltage DC bus most inverter/chargers still assume. It connects to managed CAN-bus battery banks operating anywhere from 650V to 1000V, charging at up to 41A (around 33kW at 800V) through a dedicated Battery CAN-bus port — which means noticeably thinner, cheaper DC cabling than an equivalent low-voltage system, and lower installation cost as a result.

Rack-mounted, not just high-voltage

The Multi HS19 Solar ships in a 19-inch, 4U enclosure weighing 26.5 kg, sized to slide directly into the same rack as compatible high-voltage lithium battery banks. For a growing share of the systems Peak Power is now installing — rack-mounted lithium storage rather than freestanding battery banks — that means the inverter/charger and the batteries physically share one enclosure and one footprint, instead of the inverter being a separate wall-mounted or floor-standing unit wired across the room to a battery rack. Fewer components to source, less cable to run, and a noticeably faster, cleaner install.

Inside that single rack unit it also does more than earlier Victron inverter/chargers of similar power needed multiple boxes for:

  • Full 3-phase output from one unit. 15kW continuous output (22kW peak for 5 seconds) as true 3-phase power, without combining three separate inverters the way the standard MultiPlus range requires.
  • Integrated solar tracking. Four independent MPPT trackers, each rated at 8kW (32kW total), with a wide 100-600V operating range and 99% tracking efficiency — solar charging is built into the same unit rather than a separate charge controller.
  • High efficiency. Up to 98% inverter efficiency, thanks to high-voltage, high-frequency design — meaningful for standby losses on systems that run continuously.

As with the rest of the range, it carries PowerControl and PowerAssist to manage limited grid or generator capacity, and connects into the same VE.Can / GX / VRM Portal monitoring stack Peak Power already uses across its installed base, plus Bluetooth configuration via VictronConnect.

One practical note for system design: this first hardware revision doesn’t support paralleling multiple Multi HS19 Solar units — each site is sized around a single unit’s 15kW/32kW-solar ceiling for now, with Victron indicating parallel operation is planned for a future hardware revision.
